M1 Racing's Jay Horak got his 2015 season in the Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires off to a great start over the weekend on the street course in St. Petersburg with a second on Saturday and a victory on Sunday in the series' Expert class.

The popular Californian started from the pole for St. Petersburg-based Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing and was never seriously threatened during the half-hour race.

Neil Alberico began his sophomore campaign in the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires with a dominant victory for St. Petersburg-based Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing in the Allied Building Products Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
