PITTSBORO, Ind. – TJ Speed Motorsports wrapped up a strong weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park for the second round of the USF Pro 2000 Championship season, showing speed, resilience and progress across all three races. Ariel Elkin led the team with a podium result, as the team now has a pair of drivers in the top 10 in the overall championship standings.
The weekend kicked off with qualifying, where Elkin led the TJ Speed trio with an impressive fifth-place starting position. Teammates Jace Denmark and Sebastian Manson secured 10th and 12th, respectively, setting the stage for a competitive few days ahead.
In race one, the team delivered consistent results, with Elkin finishing fifth, maintaining his position from qualifying. Denmark improved one spot to finish ninth, putting a pair of TJ Speed drivers inside the top 10. Manson fought hard to finish 16th in the tightly contested field but would show improvement as the weekend wore on in his first official trip to the NOLA facility.
The highlight of the weekend came in race two, when Ariel Elkin powered his way to a third-place finish, earning his first podium of the 2025 season and further establishing himself as a championship contender. Denmark held steady to finish 11th after the addition of a post-race penalty, and Manson gained ground from the day prior, coming home in 13th when the checkered flag flew.
In race three, Elkin continued his consistency with another fifth-place finish completing a hat-trick of top-five results. Denmark recorded his best result of the weekend, finishing seventh, while Manson followed suit and came close to the to 10, crossing the line in the 11th position for his best result of the weekend.
“It was a strong showing overall for our team,” said Tim Neff, Team Owner at TJ Speed Motorsport. “Ariel getting on the podium was a great reward for the work the team’s been putting in. Jace and Sebastian made solid gains throughout the weekend, and we’re proud of how they handled themselves in a competitive field. We’ll take these results and keep building momentum as we head to Indy.”
TJ Speed will now prepare for the next round of the USF Pro 2000 Championship, taking place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Grand Prix Circuit, May 8-10 before the one and only oval event on the calendar later that month.
