NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Coming off the only oval race of the season and the end of May, Christian Weir is looking forward to getting back out on track at Road America this weekend. Located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, this 4.014-mile, 14-turn road course will be a host for the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires drivers alongside the main event, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. 

With rounds eight and nine marking halfway through the year, Weir is determined to finish off the second half of the season strong. The Road America course is no stranger to Weir as he gears up to have a four-day event weekend.

“I’m looking forward to the second half of this season and working alongside the team to continue developing my skills,” expressed Weir. “Road America is considered a home event for me, and I will have a lot of family, friends, and partners in attendance that I will look to impress.”

This is Christian’s rookie year in USF Pro 2000 after competing last year in USF2000 with success. He is very eager to return to Road America and take on the course back behind the wheel of the #32 TJ Speed Motorsports entry. His team, TJ Speed, is currently one of the top programs in the USF Pro 2000 Championship with a trio of drivers who have earned multiple podium results.

Weir continued, “The team at TJ Speed has been incredible this year at extending support and knowledge going into each session. I hope that I can reward them with a solid finish this weekend at Road America.”
