ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – After a solid 2024 season in USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire, TJ Speed is looking for more success in 2025 and is ready for a strong start to the season in St. Petersburg this weekend. The Aussie-spirited team has three talented drivers for the upcoming season and has its sights set on a run for the championship.
“We had some strong results in 2024, and we are looking to build on or better those results this season,” said TJ Speed Owner Tim Neff. “We have three incredibly talented drivers and an equally talented team, so we hope to make a run at the title in 2025. We had a good test this past weekend and are looking to build upon that in St. Pete this week and start our 2025 campaign off on the right foot.”
Jace Denmark earned nine podium finishes in his 2024 USF Pro 2000 campaign and is the latest addition to TJ Speed. Ariel Elkin has experience in a wide range of junior formula series, including Spanish F4 and USF Juniors, where he finished fourth in the championship last season and will be making his USF Pro 2000 debut this weekend. Sebastian Manson is also making his USF Pro 2000 debut after impressing in the Yokohama South Island Formula Ford Championship last season, scoring 14 victories in 18 races on his way to claiming the title. Manson also has a lot of racing under his belt already in 2025 after completing the 2025 Castrol Toyota FR Oceania Championship.
“With two of our drivers making their USF Pro 2000 debut this weekend, there will be some learning to do, but both Ariel and Sebastian have proved they can learn quickly, and Jace’s experience will help as well,” Neff continued. “We are ready to start strong and hopefully bring home some hardware in the year's first two races.”
The USF Pro 2000 field will hit the Streets of St. Pete Friday morning, with qualifying following shortly after. Race one will take place on Saturday, and the weekend's final race is scheduled for Sunday morning.
