Denmark joins TJ Speed with eyes on the title and INDY NXT aspirations for 2026

After a standout 2024 season in the USF Pro 2000 Championship by Continental Tire, where he earned nine podium finishes, Jace Denmark is returning for 2025 with a championship bid in his sights. The experienced and consistent driver will join TJ Speed, bolstering their lineup alongside Ariel Elkin and Sebastian Manson in what promises to be a competitive trio for the upcoming season.

“We’re thrilled to announce Jace Denmark as our third and final driver for 2025,” said TJ Speed Owner Tim Neff. “Jace has been a model of consistency in the last two seasons of USF Pro 2000, and we believe his experience and race-winning pedigree will help take our program to the next level. With his proven track record and strong results last year, he’s exactly the kind of driver we need to make a serious push for the title.”

“I’m incredibly grateful to Tim, TJ Speed, and all my partners who have helped make this program possible,” Denmark added. “My ultimate goal in 2025 was to secure a seat in INDY NXT, but after some testing, it became clear that my budget wouldn’t allow for a competitive ride. I reached out to some key people in motorsport, reconnected with Tim —whom I had spoken to in the past about racing with — and together we worked out a deal that gives me the chance to compete in 2025.”

In addition to his full-time driving duties with TJ Speed, Denmark will also join the HMD Motorsports Driver Development Program. In this role, he will have the opportunity to deepen his understanding of INDY NXT by working with the team during off-weekends and building relationships with the 2022 and 2023 champions. The long-term goal is to join HMD Motorsports in 2026 as part of their INDY NXT effort.

“Jace has already gained some valuable INDY NXT experience through testing this season, and we believe he has the potential to contend for race wins in 2026 at the highest level of open-wheel racing in North America,” explained HMD Team President Mike Maurini.

Denmark added, “The last few weeks have been a whirlwind, and I’ve been working hard to secure additional support for 2025. I can’t thank Tim and the TJ Speed team enough, as well as Mike and everyone at HMD Motorsports, for their efforts in making this happen. It’s all coming together, and I’m focused on achieving my goals for 2025. The journey starts soon.”
