PITTSBORO, Ind. – It’s time for the three drivers of TJ Speed Motorsports to head to Wisconsin to take on the 4.014-mile, 14-turn road course of Road America. With its many elevation changes and long front straight, a fresh new coat of pavement is set to challenge drivers this weekend. The USF Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires and USF2000 Presented by Cooper Tires championships will be joined by the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and Blue Marble Radical Cup North America program providing for a jam-packed weekend.

With rounds eight and nine taking place this weekend, only nine wheel-to-wheel races remain in the 2023 season for the USF Pro 2000 drivers. Francesco Pizzi, who sits third in the championship, will lead the way to Road America, followed by fellow rookies Christian Weir and Lirim Zendelli.

“We are confident in our drivers as we head into Road America and the rest of the season,” said team principal Tim Neff. “We have had success at Road America in other programs in the past and look forward to doing the same this weekend. Since the first race weekend of this year, we have seen incredible dedication from all our drivers.”

Road America is the longest track on the calendar, known for its many elevation changes. The track always proves good racing and the drivers at TJ Speed are anxious to get going on the newly resurfaced circuit.

Neff continued, “We need to approach this weekend slightly differently with the new surface. However, with three drivers under the team tent, we will be able to gather data from each of them and collectively learn.”
