A little more than a year and a half after making an impressive debut at age 15 by topping the time charts during the Chris Griffis Memorial Mazda Road to Indy Test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, Patricio "Pato" O’Ward this week will return to Indianapolis as leader of the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires.

In a first-of-its-kind distribution breakthrough, Mazda Road to Indy TV announced today that in addition to its live broadcasting of all Mazda Road to Indy races on its mobile App, extensive additional programming now is available through its own digital television channels via Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Roku.

The battle for this year’s Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires – and the Mazda scholarship package to graduate to Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires in 2017 – heats up this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala. A pair of Mazda North American Operations Presents the Pro Mazda Grand Prix of Alabama races will comprise Rounds Three and Four of the 16-race schedule.
