It was a busy week for Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing with four drivers competing in ten races at NOLA Motorsports Park (Feb. 21-22) and Barber Motorsports Park (Feb. 25 - 26) in the Pro Mazda presented by Cooper Tires Championship and the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda Winterfest championships.

Andersen Promotions in conjunction with IMS Productions today announced its 2014 television broadcast schedule and on-air talent for the Mazda Road to Indy, which will feature coverage of Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires, the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda on the NBC Sports Network. All shows will be produced by the award-winning IMS Productions team.

Testing, meetings and speaking engagements combined with a very hectic travel schedule kept Michael busy in the week before the Cooper Tires Winterfest for Pro Mazda at NOLA Motorsports Park, La., and Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala.

Spencer Pigot is America's first racing champion of the new season. Pigot, 20, won last month's four-race Cooper Tires Winterfest Pro Mazda championship and hopes to carry his momentum into a successful assault on this year's Pro Mazda title.

Junior formula car up-and-comer Neil Alberico commenced his 2014 campaign in fine fashion this past week (February 21-22 & 25-26) with an strong inaugural Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires outing. Partnering with fellow series newcomers Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing, the highly-regarded Californian gained valuable experience and information during the four-race Cooper Tires Winterfest for the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, ultimately capturing a top-10 finish at NOLA Motorsports Park, and a pair of top-five results at Barber Motorsports Park.
