Rising Star Racing drivers Neil Alberico and Josef Newgarden will be back in race action this weekend for the inaugural Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana event. Held at NOLA Motorsports Park, the Pro Mazda presented by Cooper Tires series will stage Rounds 3 & 4 of its championship and the Verizon IndyCar Series will feature Round 2 of the championship at the 13-turn, 2.74-mile road course.

JDC MotorSports will arrive at the second stop of the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires with a great deal of optimism, thanks to the momentum they gained at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in March. As the team and its drivers prepare for the IndyCar Grand Prix of Louisiana at NOLA Motorsport Park this weekend (April 1-12), they will be motivated by the fact that they posted four top-10 finishes in the season opener, including a career best finish of fifth by Florida’s Kyle Connery.

Drivers from two of the three steps that comprise the Mazda Road to Indy, a scholarship laden development ladder which leads from the grassroots of the sport to the Verizon IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500, will be on stage this weekend at the inaugural Grand Prix of Louisiana.
