The 2021 Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires season got underway at Barber Motorsports Park this past weekend, with Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) fielding cars in both the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship and the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires.

Juncos Racing claimed their first podium of the 2021 Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires with Reece Gold finishing third in Round 1 of the Indy Pro 2000 Grand Prix of Alabama Presented by Cooper Tires.

This weekend’s Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires season opener at Barber Motorsports Park left much to be desired for sophomore team Turn 3 Motorsport.

Denmark’s Christian Rasmussen was a dominant force in today’s second leg of the Indy Pro 2000 Grand Prix of Alabama Presented by Cooper Tires, but it was New Zealander Hunter McElrea who claimed the victory spoils following a dramatic 30-lap contest.

Braden Eves today made a perfect return to the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, scoring a dominant victory from the pole in the first of two races which will comprise the Indy Pro 2000 Grand Prix of Alabama Presented by Cooper Tires.
