Lexington, Ohio – Mid-Ohio is the next event on the 2021 Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires calendar, and Abel Motorsports is riding high after a podium finish at Road America followed by a win at Mid-Ohio in a formula car event.
Abel has found success at Mid-Ohio before on the Road to Indy, finishing third last year after not having any time on track for practice or qualifying. The team has also scored a top-5 with Parker Thompson in 2019.
Fresh off of a podium finish at Road America, Jacob Abel and the No. 51 Crosley Brands (www.crosleyradio.com) / Abel Construction team head into rounds 11 & 12 sitting seventh in the points, only 20 points behind sixth.
“We definitely have the momentum on our side right now. A podium at Road America and a win last week really has me confident and excited to get going this weekend. I am also pumped to have Crosley Brands on the 51 car. Crosley Brands and Bo LeMastus have always been great to me, and I can’t wait to get their brand on the podium,” said Jacob Abel.
