Dawsonville, GA – VRD Racing is proud to announce that Max Taylor will move up to USF Pro 2000 for the 2025 season, fresh off his USF Juniors championship win and a strong third-place finish in USF2000. Taylor’s double-duty 2024 campaign saw him earn 17 podiums, seven wins and four pole positions, underscoring his talent and readiness to progress further up the USF Pro Championships ladder.
Reflecting on his upcoming season, Taylor shared, “I’m so excited to make the step up to USF Pro 2000 and to continue my racing career with VRD! I can’t wait to get to work on winning another championship with this team. Thank you to Dan Mitchell, Jacob Loomis and my parents for making this happen!”
Taylor has already impressed in the USF Pro Fall Combine, displaying impressive top-five pace during the two-day test on the IMS Road Course. Taylor also recently completed his first test in an INDY NXT car at Barber Motorsports Park, showcasing his ambitions to continue to ascend the Road to Indy.

Taylor’s move reflects VRD Racing’s focus on developing drivers who can perform across all levels of open-wheel racing. The 2025 season will mark VRD Racing’s second consecutive full season competing in USF Pro 2000, creating a platform for their drivers to progress to INDYCAR or in Europe through the VRD Racing GB3 team.
