With a few events under his belt in 2019, including podium results in the F3 Americas Powered by Honda program, Quinlan Lall is exploring options for 2020. Set to travel to Monterey, California and take in the IndyCar and ladder series finales at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Lall is one of several drivers attending the event as part of the Road to Indy invitational efforts set forth by Andersen Promotions.
"I am really excited to head west and attend both the last event of the 2019 IndyCar season as well as the Road to Indy finales," explained Lall. "I am anxious and itching to get back behind the wheel full time and think that this is a big opportunity to meet some new teams and see opportunities for next year. After being out of racing for two years, returning to the scene and immediately contending for wins and podiums has invigorated my drive to be full-time for next season. I feel that anywhere I go, I can be a championship contender. I am still working on finding the complete budget and determine the proper route to go, but I am keeping all doors open."
Heading to California, Lall will be a guest of the Road to Indy as the series looks to expand their driver lineups for next year. Accepting an invitation to come and walk the paddock, Lall has the opportunity to meet each and every team in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship, Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires as well as the Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires. Not only will Lall be roaming the paddock and making connections, he will also take in the sights and sounds of the championship finale weekend.
Quinlan Lall is looking to make a career in North American motorsports. Claiming multiple race wins throughout his career, the NYU Tandon School of Engineering student is on the top of his game. Balancing his schooling and race program, Lall has an edge on his competition with increased focus, organization and preparedness. Taking what he learns in the classroom and transitioning it to the track, Lall contributes a lot of his schooling to his multiple podiums in 2019.
Open wheel racing hasn't been the only form of racing that Lall has been a part of. The young American competitor is a silver-rated IMSA driver and has been behind the wheel of an LMPC car on multiple occasions including the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta and a Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona test. Additionally, Lall gained experience in BRDC British Formula 3 as well as tested the FIA F3 Car. Prior to that, the Road to Indy hopeful was a victor in the F2000 Championship Series and a podium winner in Spanish F4.
"I can't thank Jonny Baker and the Road to Indy staff enough for the invite," added Lall. "It has been a tough year not being able to compete on a regular basis, but I felt that when I was behind the wheel, I was able to show great pace and pick up some strong results. For me, 2020 starts right now, and I am excited."
