Team will return as reigning pole winners with driver Jonathan Browne

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Turn 3 Motorsport is set for Rounds 5 and 6 of the USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires taking place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway grand prix circuit this weekend. The team has had great success at its previous two visits to the 2.439-mile, 14-turn road course; driver Jonathan Browne claimed the pole position at last year’s race event and went on to set the fastest lap time on day one of the post-season Fall Combine test.

After winning two pole positions and a race in the first two rounds of the season, the team is eager to keep the momentum going and come away with more strong results from the “The Racing Capital Of The World”.

#1 Michael d'Orlando // USF Pro 2000 USF Pro Championships / Priority Payments Systems / Focused Project Management / UFC Gym Mamaroneck / Rising Star Racing
“I’m really looking forward to racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend," said d'Orlando. "This place has always been such a legendary event. I can’t wait to see what Turn 3 and I can do this weekend. I’m confident that we have what it takes to go perform, so let’s go show the world!”

#2 Jonathan Browne // USF Pro 2000 JB Racing / Motorsport Ireland / CRPS Awareness
“I’m really looking forward to getting going at the racing capital of the world," said Browne. "We have had success here in the past, and it’s always a special feeling to drive a race car around this place, so I’m excited to get the weekend started.”

#47 Jackson Lee // USF Pro 2000 IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center / Race for RP / Prime 47 / Browning Chapman
“I am so excited to get going racing again,” said Lee. “This event is in my hometown just 20 minutes from where I grew up! The Indy 500 has been a huge part of my life since I was a child. I’ve been to every race that allowed fans since I was seven years old. For me, racing across the Yard of Bricks is a feeling like none other. To get a good result here would be amazing, so we are going to be working very hard to put the #47 IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center car at the front of the field!”

On track activity begins today with two pre-event test sessions followed by official practice to round out the day. Qualifying and Race 1 will take place on Friday with Race 2 happening on Saturday. Live video coverage will be available on the free USF Pro Championships app and YouTube channels throughout the weekend.
