Budget constraints to sideline former USF2000 champion

BROWNSBURG, IN – As everyone knows, motorsports is a tough business and there are many young drivers in the development levels who must work non-stop to secure the necessary funding and sponsorship. It is with this fact in mind that Exclusive Autosport confirms the unfortunate reality that the team’s USF Pro 2000 driver Braden Eves – the dominant winner of the Freedom 90 at Indianapolis Raceway Park in May – must end his 2024 campaign prematurely.

The former USF2000 champion and multi-time winner will compete in this coming weekend’s event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and is focused on going out on a winning note. Over his career in the USF Pro Championships, he’s been a winner in both USF2000 and USF Pro 2000 and will now focus his efforts on the 2025 season and assembling the budget necessary to get back behind the wheel.

“I’m excited to get back to racing at my home race from where I grew up, Mid-Ohio,” said Eves. “ We had great pace at the mid-season testing there, so it should be a great weekend! Unfortunately, budget constraints are going to be making it my final event of the season. I’d like to thank Michael and Kimberly Duncalfe, Josh Cooley, and my engineer John Hayes for their hard work in bringing this season together and for their faith in me.
