BELMONT, N.C. – The USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire program returned to Indiana and the .686-mile Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park and looking to battle for the win during the only oval event of the season would be Turn 3 Motorsport driver Danny Dyszelski. Set to compete in the Freedom 90 during the annual Carb Night Classic, Dyszelski aimed to use his vast oval experience and fight for the top step of the podium.

Pushing through the test days on Wednesday and Thursday, Dyszelski clocked the third fastest two-lap average during Thursday evening qualifying, missing a front row starting spot by a mere .0037. Starting his quest for a victory from the inside of row two, Dyszelski would be forced to wait until Saturday to make his run at the win as rain postponed the on-track activities.

With 90 laps ahead of him, Dyszelski took the green flag from P3 as he battled hard in the top-five throughout the affair. Showing speed at points in the race, including one of the fastest cars on track over the final ten laps, the Turn 3 Motorsport driver earned one of his best results of the season, finishing fourth when the checkered flag flew.

“We had a good car today and that was proven by having a pair of Turn 3 drivers inside the top-five,” explained Dyszelski following the race. “I worked hard to keep in touch with the leaders and after the caution, mounted my attack but just came up short finishing fourth today. Thank you to everyone for the help and support. Looking forward to the next one.”

Finishing less than two seconds behind the winner, Dyszelski has momentum on his side as he heads from the shortest track on the schedule, the .686-mile Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park to the longest, the 4.014-mile Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for the next event on the USF Pro 2000 calendar over the June 6-9 weekend.
