BELMONT, N.C. – This weekend, USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire travels north to Canada for Rounds 15 and 16 of the championship. Turn 3 Motorsport driver Danny Dyszelski wants to bring momentum from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course to the Streets of Toronto as the season end nears.
Dyszelski bounced back from an issue in race one at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course to finish on the podium in third in race two, matching his best finish of the season.
“The podium finish at Mid-Ohio gives us some great momentum heading into Toronto, and I’m excited to see what we can do with that momentum,” Dyszelski said. “It felt great to match our best result of the season, but now I’m hoping to beat it this weekend.”
Dyszelski is looking to make the most of the final four rounds as the season.
“We’ve had some ups and downs, but I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish this season,” Dyszelski added. “I’m ready to finish out the season strong with the Turn 3 Motorsport crew, and hopefully fight for some more podiums and even a win in these final few rounds.”
The 1.786-mile, 11-turn, barrier-lined street circuit is a favorite amongst teams and competitors and can be a venue that shakes up the championship standings due to the risk. Having experience on the course in the past, Dyszelski aims to take advantage of his knowledge and experience in Toronto.
The USF Pro 2000 field will first take to the Streets of Toronto on Friday for practice and one qualifying session. The second qualifying session and race one are set to take place Saturday, and the weekend will wrap up with race two on Sunday morning.
