BELMONT, N.C. – USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire travels north to Wisconsin this weekend to race alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES for Rounds 10, 11 and 12 of the championship at Road America. Turn 3 Motorsport driver Danny Dyszelski is looking to use his momentum from the last round to score some great results in Elkhart Lake.
Last time out at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, Dyszelski used his oval experience to his advantage and fought at the front end of the field. Starting third, he battled in the top-five throughout the race, coming across the finish line in the fourth position.
“We had a good race at IRP, just missing out on a podium,” said Dyszelski. “It was great to fight at the front, and we can do that again at Road America.”
Coming away from the shortest track of the schedule – the 0.686-mile Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park – Dyszelski turns his attention to the longest track on the schedule – the 4.014-mile Road America.
“IRP and Road America are very different challenges, but I’m confident the momentum we’re bringing from IRP will help us this weekend,” Dyszelski continued. “We have three chances for great results this weekend, and I’m ready to fight for a podium or a win.”
The USF Pro 2000 field will hit the track on Thursday for a Promoter Test Day. Friday morning is the sole practice session of the weekend, followed by the first qualifying session later in the morning and the second qualifying session on Friday afternoon. Races one and two will occur on Saturday, with the weekend wrapping up Sunday morning with race three.
