Morales makes move back to USA with TJ Speed

 Joining one of the most potent teams in the USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire program, David Morales will shift his focus from Europe to North America. Joining TJ Speed, Morales is set for a full campaign in 2024 after the 20-year-old has climbed the ladder and now sits just two rungs away from the top tier of open-wheel motorsports in North America.

“Home at last and thrilled to be racing with TJ Speed this season,” expressed Morales. “After my time in England, returning to Florida to race across America is incredibly special. Can’t wait to hit the track with such an exceptional team.”

“We tested David at Sebring and for never having driven the car before, he performed very well,” explained TJ Speed’s Tim Neff. “He has raced a lot of different machinery all over the world, so we are expecting him to be right on pace when we roll into the start of the season in just a few weeks.”

Making his car racing debut at the Lucas Oil Formula Car Series in 2019, Morales then moved to the NCAM Formula 4 Championship in 2020. In 2021, Morales scored two podium results in the F4 British Championship before moving to the Formula Regional Asian Championship in 2022. With experience and podiums in the GB3 Championship and Formula Regional Oceania Championship, Morales is set for a return to the United States in 2024 and beyond.
