Indianapolis, Ind. – With a year of experience under his belt, Wyatt Brichacek will return to Jay Howard Driver Development for the full 2022 Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires season.
Brichacek is no stranger to the field after competing for the full 2021 season, achieving a solid top-10 finish in the series’ final standings. With a win in the 2020 Formula Pro USA F4 Winter Series, as well as his experience in the USF2000 Championship, Brichacek will no doubt be a strong contender throughout the 2022 season.
With his hard work and growing success alongside the JHDD team in the past five years, Brichacek looks to continue the momentum in 2022 with his sights set high for the championship.
“I’m really excited to be returning with JHDD for a second season in Indy Pro 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires,” said Brichacek. “We’ve been working hard during the off season, and I can’t wait to get started and see how we stack up in 2022. Aiming to continue the success the team saw last year, winning the Indy Pro 2000 Championship.”
The Jay Howard Driver Development team is just as thrilled to welcome Brichacek back for yet another action-filled year. After coming out on top of the charts during testing last year, they’re confident that Wyatt and the team will see even more success in the upcoming race season.
“To say I am happy about Wyatt returning is an understatement! He has been a major part of this team since the beginning, and to have him return for a fifth straight year makes him our all-time longest tenured driver, which I love!” said team owner, Jay Howard. “Wyatt has the speed to win races in Indy Pro 2000 this year. Hopefully the continuity pays off for him. There is no one that deserves a good season more than Wyatt. He is a part of our family and we will give it all we got in 2022.”
The JHDD team will hit the track for the first round of the season on February 25-27 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Be sure to keep up with all racing action, news, and highlights on JHDD’s official social media channels.
