BROWNSBURG, IND. – Argentinean female driver Julia Ballario will make her second appearance with Juncos Racing in the Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires tomorrow at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course’s official series test.

Ballario, 20, who completed her first test with Juncos Racing and the Pro Mazda series last year at the Chris Griffiths Memorial Road to Indy open test, looks forward to returning to the car and the team.

"I'm very happy to have the chance to test again with Juncos Racing in the Pro Mazda car,” said Ballario. “I really enjoy driving the car, and it will be a great challenge as I continue to evolve in this series. This will be a new track for me so we will take the first sessions to learn the track and adjust myself to the car again. In Argentina I'm racing completely different car, but I think that I will adapt fast as I did in my first test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last October.

The main reason for this test is to get ready for the 2014 Pro Mazda season, however we are going to try to run two races this year. I want to take this opportunity to thank Ricardo Juncos and his teams because they’ve been so good to me and always have kept the doors open for me.”

Juncos Racing Team Owner, Ricardo Juncos, is thrilled to have Ballario back in the car and hopes to bring her on board full time with Juncos Racing in the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship.

“I’m so happy to have Julia back with us for the Mid-Ohio Test,” said Juncos. “The idea is to keep putting in miles and learning the tracks. We are looking forward to getting Julia in the Pro Mazda series in 2014. She showed a lot of potential last October, and her adaptation to the car was very quick, improving every lap. Lately Julia has been competing in the super truism car called Top Race V6 with 420hp and it will be a challenge to adapt to the Pro Mazda car in only one day. However, I am very confident she will show strong results as she did in Indy.”
