Speedway, Ind. – Abel Motorsports and Butler University student Jacob Abel will be wrapping up the 2021 Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires this weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

With the unfortunate cancellation of the events in Toronto, Abel Motorsports and the No. 51 Crosley Brands (www.crosleybrands.com) / Abel Construction team will be heading back to Mid-Ohio for a second time this season. Mid-Ohio has been a very strong track for Abel, including a podium finish in race 1 earlier this season, and a win in a separate formula car event.

Jacob Abel comes into the season ending race weekend sitting 6th in the championship standings, optimistic about being able to deliver solid runs.

“I love racing at Mid-Ohio and I’m very excited to be ending the season there. We have really come together this year as a team, and I think we are building a solid platform for the future. I would love to reward my guys and all of my partners that make this possible with more podiums and even a win, so that is our plan this weekend,” said Abel.
