CARMEL, Ind. – Miller Vinatieri Motorsports driver Jack William Miller is looking to add to his podium total this weekend as the next two rounds of the USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires take place in Toronto, Canada.
"I enjoy the street races and going to Toronto, I have some track knowledge and experience on my side,” explained Miller, who currently sits ninth in the championship standings only 24 points out of a top-five position. “We will utilize that to our advantage this weekend and see what we can do when the green flags fly.”
Competing alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, Miller will take on the 1.786-mile, 11-turn, temporary facility on the Streets of Toronto. Known for the bumpy and barrier-lined layout, the Honda Indy Toronto is a favorite amongst drivers, including Miller who finished eighth in race one last year and fourth in the second wheel-to-wheel action of the weekend.
With a single practice session on Friday, Jack William Miller will face qualifying that afternoon for race one. Saturday morning will see the second of two qualifying sessions that will set the grid for race two which will take place Sunday morning while the first wheel-to-wheel action of the weekend goes green on Saturday afternoon.
Miller added, “My goal is to finish the season strong. I think we have a very good opportunity to pick up some additional podium results before the end of the season, and I would like nothing more to celebrate with Patterson Dental, Blue Marble Productions and the rest of my partners on the top step of the podium.”
