Oconomowoc, Wisconsin - Pabst Racing has announced the signing of 23-year-old Christian Brooks for the 2024 USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire. The California native who resides in Indianapolis competed in two USF Pro 2000 races in 2023 and will make his first full season campaign in the series.
In 2023, Brooks scored a pole and a win during the season opener weekend at St. Pete. He also earned a top five in Toronto.
Brooks’ sponsors BUCKED UP and Deploy Surveillance will be on board for the season as he pilots the no. 19 Tatuus IP-22 for Pabst Racing. He joins two returning drivers, Simon Sikes and Jace Denmark, who were announced in recent weeks.
“I couldn’t be more excited to become a Pabst driver for the 2024 USF PRO championship,” said Brooks. “We’ll be a threat to the field and I'm ready to show what I can do in a full season. Time to push.”
Today, the team takes part in a series test at Sebring Raceway where they’ll have a chance to start developing working relationships within the team and see how they stack up amongst other teams.
The signing of Brooks marks the sixth and final driver announcement from the team for the 2024 championships. The team will run three cars in both the USF2000 Championship presented by Continental Tire as well as USF Pro 2000.
“Christian is a winner,” said team owner Augie Pabst. “He’s very talented and extremely tough to beat on the track, so I’m really looking forward to seeing him in a Pabst car in 2024.”
Following the series test at Sebring, the team will take part in another series test at NOLA Motorsports Park in February.
