Toronto, Ontario – Timothe Buret scored another podium finish this weekend at the Cooper Tires Pro Mazda Grand Prix of Toronto, giving him a total of six podiums during the 2015 season. The Juncos Racing driver finished Race 2 in seventh, and maintained third position in the championship with 198 points.
During the first race of the weekend, Buret started sixth and managed to avoid a big pile up in Turn 3, eventually coming out of the mess in third and maintaining the position all the way to the checkered flag, giving him his sixth podium finish of the season. The 20-year-old was on his way to another podium finish during Race 2 of the weekend, but a small mistake under damp conditions caused him to fall all the way back to eighth.
During the last minutes of the race he managed to recover one more position and he crossed the finish line in seventh. Buret now finds himself only 36 points behind the championship leader, with five more races still left in the 2015 calendar.
TIMOTHE BURET Driver #6 BROADSIGN / Juncos Racing: "Good moments and bad moments this weekend, but overall this weekend was very good for the championship and I'm happy. I made a mistake today that I shouldn't be making at this point in the championship so now I have nothing to lose and I'm going to attack even more and try to win as much as possible the rest of the season."
