Andersen Promotions today announced a three-year partnership which will see the renowned Skip Barber Racing School become the Official Racing School of USF Juniors Presented by Cooper Tires, the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship and the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires next year.

The achievements of Road to Indy rising stars Louis Foster and Michael d'Orlando were lauded yesterday evening during the traditional Championship Celebration which began with a spectacular reception beside the Columbia River and with the majestic Mount Hood clearly visible in the background.

One day after celebrating his 18th birthday with an emphatic victory at Portland International Raceway, Reece Gold emerged victorious once again in this afternoon’s Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires season finale

Louis Foster and Reece Gold each scored a clear victory and a second-place finish during today’s pair of Cooper Tires Indy Pro 2000 Grand Prix races at Portland International Raceway. But that tally proved more than enough for Foster, a 19-year-old rookie from Basingstoke, England, to clinch the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires for the Exclusive Autosport team.

Foster’s tally of six wins and four pole positions has taken him to a commanding a 77-point lead in the point standings with only 99 points available during the triple-header finale – 30 for each race win plus bonus points for pole position, fastest race lap and leading most laps. In reality, Foster needs merely one 11th-place finish from the three races to put the title beyond the reach of his adversaries.
