World Speed Motorsports driver Bobby Eberle announced the winner of the design contest for his 2014 Pro Formula Mazda.  The competition was held on iRacing.com, and entries were submitted from around the world. After multiple evaluations, the winning design came from Thiago Izequiel at Pegasus Racing Design.

Eberle let the designers use their creativity by putting very few guidelines in place.

PMC Driver Bobby Eberle: "When the 2013 car was designed -- also through iRacing.com members -- I had a good idea of how I wanted it to look.  This time, I wanted to see new concepts and ideas.  My only criteria were that we would maintain the red, white, and blue colors and that the design work well with sponsor decals of various sizes.

I'm so excited about the end result.  Thiago's vision is exactly what I had in mind, and I can't wait to see the real car."

When told that he had won, Izequiel said, "WOW! Great news, Bobby! I'm really surprised and happy right now. It is a dream come true to paint a real race car. Really, I have no words. Thank you so much!"

The car design will be used throughout the 2014 season, and the Pegasus Racing Design logo will be included on the car.

Pegasus Racing Design was created by Thiago Izequiel to fulfill the purpose of building a unique identity for each Racing Driver or Team, giving them the visibility and recognition needed on the race track or on a simulator. Something to make them shine along with his sponsors, and make the motorsports world better through Design.

The team has already begun winter testing, and will also race in the off-season in preparation for the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires.
