Lochie Hughes showcased his prowess at this weekend’s VP Racing Grand Prix of Indianapolis by earning three third-place finishes for Turn 3 Motorsport in the USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire.

Despite showing speed and having a presence at the front of the field, results were hard to come by for Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) as its quintet of drivers battled all weekend long at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

TJ Speed Motorsports had an impressive weekend at the yard of bricks, taking home two podiums and two additional top-five finishes with team drivers Liam Sceats and Hunter Yeany.

VRD Racing’s Nikita Johnson and Pabst Racing’s Simon Sikes both stood on the top step of the podium in the final two rounds of the VP Racing Grand Prix of Indianapolis tripleheader.

Nikita Johnson and VRD Racing are on a roll. The 15-year-old rising star from Gulfport, Fla., today scored his fourth victory in a row when he once again showed a clean rear wing to his USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire rivals and comfortably won the first of three races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Grand Prix road course which will comprise the VP Racing Grand Prix of Indianapolis.
