Danny Dyszelski scores three top-tens in three races
BELMONT, N.C. – USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire traveled to Wisconsin this past weekend for Rounds 10, 11 and 12 of the championship at the fame Road America. Turn 3 Motorsport driver Danny Dyszelski had a great weekend at “America’s National Park of Speed,” scoring three top-10 finishes in three races as he now looks forward to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in July.
Dyszelski showed strong pace in practice Friday morning, setting the ninth-quickest time of the session. He remained in strong form for both qualifying sessions, setting the fourth-fastest time in qualifying one and the sixth-fastest time in qualifying two – less than one-tenth off the next-quickest car.
In race one Saturday morning, Dyszelski battled at the front end of the field, ultimately crossing the finish line in sixth place. In a busy race two, Dyszelski fought up front again, coming home in fifth place.
“Saturday was a good day for us, and we have two solid results to show for it after battling weather throughout the day and the running of our race after a postponement due to heavy rain,” Dyszelski said. “We were quick, stayed out of trouble, and brought home a pair of decent results.”
n the weekend's final race, Dyszselski was strong again in the weekend's final race, running up front and finishing just off the podium in fourth place.
“Race three was a good end to a good weekend,” Dyszelski said. “We had strong pace all weekend and brought home some results to be proud of. A huge thank you to everyone at Turn 3 Motorsport for all of their hard work.”
Dyszelski will be back in the #3 Turn 3 Motorsport machine for Rounds 13 and 14 of the USF Pro 2000 season at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course July 4-7.
