Indianapolis, Ind. – Timothé Buret returns to the track this weekend for the Cooper Tires Pro Mazda Grand Prix of Indianapolis at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway's road course. The young Frenchman will look to continue to build on the strong momentum that has seen him have a podium appearance in each of the last two events of the Pro Mazda Championship presented by Cooper Tires.
During the last event at Barber Motorsports Park, Buret started both races in the front row, and during the first race went on to fight for the lead and finish in the second position. The Juncos driver had to fight his way from the back during the second race after being driven off the track during the start, but he still managed to climb up to eighth and score valuable points, giving him the fifth position in the championship with 73 points.
Buret started off the week at IMS on the right foot after finishing second during Wednesday’s promoters test only .032s behind his teammate Garret Grist. It will be a busy weekend for the Pro Mazda field, which will compete in three races this weekend, including a make-up race because of the cancelation at NOLA due to weather earlier in the season.

“I’m feeling very good, I have big expectations for this weekend! We finished up second fastest in practice and the Juncos car is very fast, so I think we have a very good chance to get another podium here. I really like the IMS road course, it’s a complete track. You have slow corners, fast corners, and hard breaking zones, so it’s a lot of fun to drive. It’s beautiful and it’s a historic track and I’m just very happy to be here.”
