Indianapolis, Ind. – Juncos Racing is pleased to announce Russian driver Artem Petrov will join team for the 2020 Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires. Petrov is the first driver named to the reigning Indy Pro 2000 team.
“I am very happy to announce that I will be racing with Juncos Racing in the 2020 Indy Pro 2000 Championship,” said Petrov. “I have had a great time testing with the team over the past few months and I feel really comfortable with them. I am looking forward to a great season!”
Artem made his first attempt at the Road to Indy in 2019 competing in a total of three race events, starting on the oval at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway and ending on the winding road course at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Before joining the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires, Petrov competed in the FIA F3 Championship and the F4 Italian Championship. The 2020 season will be the first time the 20-year old will contest the full Indy Pro 2000 season.

The Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires kicks off the 2020 campaign on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Florida beginning with the first session of the year on March 12th followed by rounds 1 and 2 on March 13th and 14th respectively.
