Shelby Blackstock, No. 28 Starstruck
- Nashville native captured his 13th career podium finish for today's Pro Mazda season finale coming home in the third position after starting from sixth
- Clinches the fourth spot in the championship points standings (unofficial)
"We'll definitely take a P3 finish from where we started (P6). The first couple of practice sessions we were about two seconds off, so we'll definitely take a podium. Unfortunately it's another third-place finish - it's been a pretty brutal season for us. To come out of this weekend with a podium just shows how hard the No. 28 crew worked, so big thank you to them."
Garett Grist, No. 27 Lander Property Management/DaVinci Foods
- Rookie maneuvered his way up to the ninth position after starting 15th on the Northern California track for today's Race Two
- Today's finish marked the 19-year-old's 11th top-10 finish
"Overall it was a rough weekend for us to finish off the year. It's always good to finish off strong and go into the off-season in a good mood, and unfortunately we weren't able to do that this weekend. We didn't have the pace to be honest. We were running 14th, 15th, 16th all weekend - rough time for us. Have to thank Lander Property Management, DaVinci Foods, Sofina Foods, Sparco, Bell Helmets and most importantly my family for their support and hopefully we'll have a strong 2015."
