MILWAUKEE, WIS. -- Matthew Brabham dominated round six of the Pro Mazda presented by Cooper Tires Championship held at the historic Milwaukee Mile oval circuit located in West Allis, Wis. The MAZDASPEED Andretti Autosport driver was the fastest in all practice sessions, won the pole with a record time and led the entire 90 laps with a new track record, to take his winning streak to five races in a row.

The 19-year-old winner of the 2012 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda and grandson of three-time Formula One World Champion Sir Jack Brabham, made the most of his starting position and led the field into the first corner. Matthew pulled away and opened a comfortable margin, breaking the track record on the 4th lap. From then on it was all about finding a rhythm without using up the tires; however a pace car came out on lap 67 and the healthy gap that @MattyBrabs had maintained from the start evaporated. Taking advantage of some lapped cars between himself and second place Juan Piedrahita, he extended the lead back up to nearly 10 seconds at the finish.

"It was an absolutely fantastic race. It went all to plan and the car was great. I can't thank the team enough. The guys at Andretti have been working really hard all year and everything is just falling into place for us," a happy Matthew said after the race. "We were quick every session and we managed to keep on top of the changing conditions on the track, which was the main goal for us because we knew we had the car speed. It was a good, long tough race. It also goes slower when you are out in front. This is great for the championship and I couldn't be happier.

Brabham takes a 49-point lead into the Honda Indy Toronto street circuit for rounds 7 & 8, on July 13 -14.
