Leading Motorsports Publication to Expand Coverage of the Mazda Road to Indy
Andersen Promotions today announced that it has entered into a partnership with
RACER magazine and Racer Media & Marketing which will see the leading motorsports authority become an Official Partner of the Mazda Road to Indy effective immediately. The new alliance will include creative services, content marketing and an expanded advertising campaign to further showcase competitors in the three INDYCAR-sanctioned ladder series – Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires, the Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda.
Andersen Promotions has been an advertising partner of
RACER magazine since 2011, utilizing a campaign of “Meet the Latest” ads to showcase drivers and their accomplishments in the respective series. The new association will further expand this coverage with content-driven features including a “talent watch” section in the magazine and online highlighting drivers who demonstrate clear growth potential through the ladder system; a Mazda Road to Indy subsection on RACER.com; the introduction of driver profiles; and the opportunity for drivers to appear as guest contributors and columnists on RACER.com.
“
RACER has been a tremendous supporter of the Mazda Road to Indy, including the launch of the Dallara IL-15, and our new partnership is a natural expansion of an already great working relationship,” said Dan Andersen, Owner and CEO of Andersen Promotions. “Paul Pfanner [
RACER founder and president] is a long-established visionary on the motorsports front and this is a great opportunity for us to tap into the creative services expertise of Paul and his team as well as expand our editorial coverage, all of which benefits our competitors and partners.”
The August “Great Cars Issue” of
RACER included a six-page, detailed feature on the Dallara IL-15 while the September “Insider Issue” highlighted recent prototype testing with a two-page spread.
"
RACER has a long history of supporting the American open-wheel ladder system,” said Pfanner. “We believe that supporting young racers is a critical aspect of growing our sport overall. There is a deep talent pool of accomplished young drivers that deserve to be recognized. Partnering with the Mazda Road to Indy and Andersen Promotions is a natural fit. We share a deep commitment to nurturing the next generation of IndyCar stars."
